I can see the episode now. Eggman need funds for his crap as you can't exactly steal from online orders (you will get a bad rep that way) so he use what little he had on hand to build a very small and limited casino (like literally three slot machines under a hut). One slot is being hog by the bad mother women, the 2nd is also being used by her as her son is dropping in the coins for her. The 3rd is being use by main character X while the others quickly get bored of watching and just leave. Eggman just doing his job and collect his money, overall a nice guy this time around though greedy, shown to slowly decrease the odds of winning on the machines. The episode doesn't end with a battle, the mayor just decide to make gambling illegal as the noise was keeping in up at night. The town hall was right next to the cheap casino. Eggman happy with the money he got and Character X had to work at the burger place for a while to break even.
Fill it with a shit ton of jokes and it could be golden. I love episodes where Eggman is just being smart and not stupidly evil.

I want them to use any increased budget and use it to increase the quality of the animation. The models look great, and there's some scenes that are animated smooth. But for the most part everything tends to be pretty stiff. Adding more characters wouldn't hurt either.
And Eggman episodes are pretty much top tier.

Robotnik ends up in a relationship with a hot critter and this make Sonic Jealous. The gang joshes Sonic, calling it a bromace jealousy. Robotnik is actually trying to destroy the gal sometimes and after they punch out, they're lovey dovey the next. This really annoys Sonic into trying to destroy Eggman's relationship and make him Sonics arch enemy again. It ends with Eggman feeling flattered and chases after Sonic while the gal vows vengences on Sonic for stealing her Eggy Weggys attention away.
