I can't wait for the day when all this cool concept art has been reused and given names and canonical locations and stories around them, the way McQuarrie's concept art and old West End Games stuff has been recycled. There's a lot of cool stuff in there I'd like to see explored.
I watched the first episode of Clone Wars and frankly hated it. I'm assuming it finds its footing at some point with a clear plot and developing characters? If so, when does that start?
I've watched the first three or four episodes of Rebels and really don't like it. Does it become better in the ways I mention above?
I'm caving in to the zeitgeist and I would like to consume more Star Wars, but I want to enjoy it.

What didn't you like the first episode? I honestly liked Yoda a lot in it and it also kind of established the foreshadowing of Clone development throughout the series when he talked to them inside the cave about individuality.

True, though he doesn't wear it that long and it's not iconic like his Bespin coat. It's more of a commentary on everything. Everything is aged up but very visually similar to something in the OT in the film, while the art book shows recognizable elements in designs that have been vastly changed. Like the TIE.
