I keep seeing the PSA about pet adoption where they have these stupid pet characters. It drives me batshit insane, and here's why: If we discount the fact that none of these pet characters are actually from the movies, I know damn well for sure that if any of the characters in the movies had pets they would look absolutely nothing like that. They were designed by toy / marketing people. If they were actually designed by animators working on a movie, they would be more realistically proportioned and have more quirky appearances. Animators love quirky pets, while marketers will always just draw some variation of Bambi because that shit sells with little girls. These things do not look like they belong in the same universe as the princesses they were created as pets for.
