Why, I do believe it's time for obscure Curt Swan comics!
But enough about me, what've you got planned for the weekend?
Sorry for missing the last few days - I had a lot of stuff to do irl yesterday and the day before.
Yes, I like cover stories, but I don't LIKE-like them...
Tomahawk has gotta be one of the most underrated characters ever published by DC Comics.

He really is the best indicator of whatever direction DC was going in; 40's-50's, he's rounding up rustlers and making peace with the Injuns; 60's, he's fighting Injun robots and giant gorillas; 70's, his son is embroiled in socially relevant dilemmas with escaped slaves and suchlike. Shame he's been sidelined by Jonah Hex and Batlash, but what can you do?

I always preferred him over Jonah as a character, even if his books were never as great.
>>79008547
How would you make Tomahawk interesting? I'd be tempted to make the goofy Silver Age nonsense canon, but make him completely unflappable in the face of Gator Gods and Tree-Men.
>>79008594
Just make it a frontiersman adventure book. Of course that'd never happen in modern DC.

They need to bring back covers where things actually happen.
That's enough of Curt Swan for today...
... Dashiell Hammett died 55 years ago on the 10th of this month...

Agreed
This will take a while, so feel free to go to the bathroom.
Where can I find vintage comics?
Looking for Prince Valiant (and Phantom, and Flash Gordon, and Dick Tracy)
Pre-excuse, my 1st post here

Torrent sites are your best bet - I generally use Kick Ass Torrents, but that's just me. Dick Tracy scans are thin on the ground, but you could always try the issues of Dell's Four Color Comics that Gould's work was reprinted in.

Thanks a lot!
What other torrents?
Im not good at english part of Internet.
Incidentally, you could do worse than to check out the Secret Agent X-9 radio play the BBC made a few years ago.
... and David Bowie died on that same day this year.
Again, if you want to make a bathroom break, go right ahead.
Robert Stack would've been 97 on Wednesday...
... Michae Bond, who created Paddington Bear, was 90...
... Frances Sternhagen was 86...
... Chris Wiggins is 85...
... as would Charles Nelson Reilly...
... Rip Taylor was 82...
... Cabu would've been 78...
... Richard Moll was 73...
... Julia Louis-Dreyfus was 55...
... Patrick Dempsey was 50...
... Keith Coogan was 46...
... Norman Panama, who scripted the Lil Abner movie, died 13 years ago on Wednesday...
... Patrick McGoohan died 7 years ago...
I fucking hate playing catch-up.
