Gods in Marvel are basically cosmic actors designed to play out their roles in stories, and the Asgardians play out Ragnarok.
Ragnarok is the universe rewriting event that has the galaxy burned anew and the cycle begins again.
Rune King Thor stopped that. Not only did he rewrite the very nature of gods and reality in the Marvel universe, he to an extent also rewrote the beginning of the New gods in DC as well. As the New Gods are birthed from Ragnarok also.

The thought operates in the orrery of worlds, at a level outside of normal story. Rewriting the laws of your own universe isn't the same thing as transcending those laws completely.
Then again, I don't think that using the two as parallels even makes sense. The thought robot just exists as a representation of heroic victory, so I don't think it would even start up unless Rune King Thor was destroying the multiverse.

Depends on the comic. Sometimes he's an unreasonable force of nature that just rampages until he calms down, others he's somewhat lucid and can reason and communicate to an extent. And further still in some comics he actually becomes somewhat intelligent and much less savage. In some instances the line between Banner and Hulk gets blurred pretty heavily.

Yes, DC can be a bit inconsistent with power-levels, but the characters themselves in Marvel are horribly inconsistent. I was recently reading Walter Simonson's Thor and Ms Marvel. Short recap of it: Darkseid is dead. His soul killed by superman singing. This causes the end of the mutliverse. All that's left at the end of all universes is Superman, a tiny landmass and the miracle machine. Built by superman, based on green lantern rings and refined by the heroes of the future, it can rewrite reality to such an extent that it can revive the many universes of the DC multiverse.
Before he can activate and power it with his own sun energy, The Enemy turns up. Arguably, DC's number one bad guy.
Mandrakk the Dark Monitor.
Superman knowing that this was coming, had earlier tasked captain marvel with gathering all of the supermen of the multiverse to help fight mandrakk. He turns up, this signals the call for help to the Monitors who send Nix Uotan, judge of all evil.
Uotan calls down God's army from heaven, allows the green lanterns access from across space-time, doing the same with both the Super Young Team and the Zoo Crew.
This assemblage fights off the Dark Monitor, and Superman wishes for everyone to have a happy ending to their stories, in a Darkseid-less multiverse.
Do yourself a favour and read final crisis and the superman beyond tie in. It's an amazing book and works well if you read it before reading multiversity, which links back a lot.
