Sounds like you enjoy the RPG aspects more than the actual show.
Just talk with the DM and make sure the focus is on the game. Still though, you probably aren't going to have as much fun if you can't get into the show as much.
You could alternatively tell them you thing SU is dumb, find other people to hang out with and play and different game. If you think that would make you happy.
