I didn't want to get too far into it just in case I never deliver, which at the rate I'm going, probably not, but;The MC in the one I'm writing is a currently un-named freshman hunter who's semblance and weapon have yet to be decided upon.
The game is set in RWBY's second year and has the MC arrive at Beacon like they did and run into them. The first 1/5 or so of the game is RWBY showing you around Beacon and a bunch of interaction on a point system that decides which routes you can take later on. You need at least 2 points for a certain route, and you will always unlock at least 2, not counting an immediate bad end.
Ruby's route has you explore the pain of missing her mother, her Hunter dream, and her love of weapons.
One of the possible bad ends is not having Ruby help you with your weapon maintenance which results in your gun jamming and getting you killed on your next mission.
That's all I'm going to say for now, but I can't stress the "might not even finish, so don't expect anything until after it happens" part.
