I think a large amount of people were drawn to Wander Over Yonder because of Lord Dominator's appearance; I was, at least. It's just a damn shame that the creators of the show made her such a horrible abomination of a character. I mean, this show generally has pretty good writing; it seems so out of place for one character to suddenly be a stupid generic mary sue villain with no flaws whatsoever.
It's bad enough that they'd ruin a cute looking character, but they make her a major reoccuring character, so her boring mary-sue personality is only magnified in how much it fucks up the show. Not to mention it turns Wander into an obsessive shipping idiot and Hater into a generic dumb cartoon guy who like pretty lady. It'd be fine for a single-episode thing but having an entire arc based around that seems stupid.
