>He thinks Howard The Duck isn't the best comedy book Marvel has out right now
>>78632442
who are you quoting, op?
>>78632442
isn't it basically the only one that isn't shit?
>>78632442
Do they even have more than one? Who are you even pretending to argue with?
>>78632554
There's Squirrel Girl. That's "comedy".
>>78632565
It being the way it is should count sort of comedic.
>>78632577
Or some sort of tragic.
>>78632442
>OP states disagreement without any sort of positive claim for an alternative
No. You have to tell us what you think is better. You have to have a fucking point, not just a hollow declaration.
>>78632442
pretty nice reaction image, OP ty
>marvel's humor
nah thanks anon
>>78632442
:^)
>>78633065
now you just need red eyes and the JUST hair
>>78632634
His claim is that Howard the Duck is the best Marvel comedy book. So, YOU have to tell us what YOU think is better.
Is this any good. I saw Squirrel Girl in the first book and closed it, thinking it would have the same tier of humor.
>>78633090
Oh, sorry. I misread that. Allow me to see myself out.

It's pretty funny. With the volume 0 run definitely more on the funny side than the continuation which handles more plot and makes little room for antics so far due to the Gwenpool backup, which in itself is actually much funnier.
In any case it does not suffer from the same levels of shit artist and fatminism as SG to say the least.
Howard just isn't the same without Gerber. This run feels too generically quirky and not depressed/angry enough.
>>78633937
They didn't change the tagline from "Trapped in a world he never made" to "trapped in a world he's grown accustomed to" for nothing.
>>78633114
Not really, what good jokes they make get run into the ground by Zdarsky.
Speaking of ducks, why doesn't Marvel publish Paperinik comics?
>>78633114
Squirrel Girl's probably funny. It's written by Ryan North, after all. It's just that the art style is so repulsive that I can't bring myself to open it, let alone buy it. I'm surprised this isn't the exact complaint everyone else has, since it's written by an accomplished writer and is almost objectively ugly.

Wait a minute..
>Marvel is owned by Disney
>Marvel has access to Disney's library
>new Howard the Duck movie
>Howard's dimension is literally Duckberg
>he literally lives near Scrooge and Donald
>Donald becomes canon part of the MCU
Yes, please.
>>78636566
But Howard's world has way more animal species than ducks and dog-people. If anything, it resembles Zootopia
>>78632442
Your friend is a faggot if he thinks that this is even good to begin with...
