I hate it when I see dogs die on anything. But for some strange reason, Brian's didn't affect me at all. Maybe because I got a new dog as a pet around the same, and I was too busy loving him, maybe it was because Brian turned into Seth's personal views voice box, I don't know.

Brain never really acted like a dog and did act as Seth's voice and later just as douchy and assholeish as the rest of the Griffin family. You can't feel sorry for him at all because if he does get a heartwarming moment the episode usually reverses that feeling before it's over.
