They're like really short kids, not chipmunk kids.
I sometimes watch it when nothing else is on. It's very by the books. It's got a checklist of cartoon plots and it's just scratching them off one by one.
I saw the other two movies too. They weren't great movies. Definitely not fit for theatrical release. But they didn't make me want to kill myself, so I guess they weren't all bad.

These designs as interpreted by those late 90s/early 2000s VHS movies were probably the best. They were no longer restricted to 80s limitations of animation techniques but retained the same physical look.
