It's well animated but the theme song leaves something to be desired. TV Show Show and Forever have great intros and themes.

Honestly, the show holds up more or less for the entire series. I think season 6 gets a special mention for it's running storyline about the gas leaks and Markula. It also had some great guests that season.

I personally find season 4 to be the strongest. The change from TV-14 to TV-MA allowed the show to push itself in a way that gave us classics like "Dickesode" and "Handbanana". It also was the final season before the film.
I don't know why but the episode with the drizzle will stick with me forever.
Athf ,the brak show, Harvey birdman are what put adult swim on the map .
I would include home movies but I honestly don't know if that was an as original or not

I'll give you that. It definitely gets points for being a transitional season, it just has some of the series more (in my opinion) weaker episodes(Grim Reaper Gutters, Moonajuana, and Party All the Time).
