i am not sure to get the joke.
Isn't anyone who live in a city refer to as "my city"? Isn't that a common thing?

That's a joke?
>>78487986
I guess it's poking fun at how often Ollie says "my city" or "this city" on Arrow?
>>78487986
I guess the joke is how they each think the city is their city, despite plenty of other capes operating there.
>>78488689
Pretty weak.
>>78488741
Pmuch.
MY CITY.
>>78488890
His city.
>>78488689
But that's not even ironic or remarkable, like OP said, everyone who live in a city refer to it as "my city". It's a common thing to say.
i work alone in the jail of the city that betrayed me

Well, yeah, it's a shitty joke.
>>78490050
there is a difference in the right context.
"My city" can mean "The city i live in", but it can also mean, as it sometimes does with vigilantes, "This city belongs to me"

>as it sometimes does with vigilantes, "This city belongs to me"
Except they never ever mean that. they always meant "The city i live in and that I swore to protect".
