DC is full of nothing but god like characters. That isn't a bad thing at all, but having them crossover with extremely human characters is and will always be fucking stupid. Them crossing over with marvel makes more sense because they have actual counterparts there and it's far more even without having to resort to stupid bullshit like having magic make everyone be on equal footing. Seeing someone like baraka take on superman and winning just looks retarded, however, if he was facing wolverine, or raiden was against thor, shit just flows more easily. I don't even really like marvel, but a crossover with them just makes far more sense to me than it does with DC.

The sad thing is that the Red Hood Gang was a moderately decent idea.
The execution and Capullo being a cunt (seriously, he threw a huge crying and screaming temper tantrum over the idea of drawing a Red Hood Joker who's face was completely hooded and Snyder/DC had to cave and come up with the condom head mask that left the entire bottom half of Joker's face uncovered, to keep Capullo from quitting the book) ruined it.
I kind of hope/wish SOMEONE follows up on it, since the idea of Joker having an army of innocent civilian henchmen who are blackmailed with death and worse in order to force them to be his masked and anonymous henchmen is an interesting idea, especially since Snyder completely and utterly dropped the ball on WHAT HAPPENED TO the members of the gang who were blackmailed into joining, when they were caught and the gang ultimately shut down.

The Red Hood Gang was SORT OF addressed in the Red Hood and the Outlaws Year Zero tie-in issue.
The RHG members who where full-on criminals/gangsters etc tried to get together after their leader/Joker fell in the acid, to regroup and select a new leader. Joker slaughtered the entire lot of them in a pique because he didn't like the idea of the gang continuing on if he wasn't the leader
