They made a cartoon about two gay dudes who, presumably, fought evil wizards or something with their white tiger? Which I thought was a lion?
That's pretty progressive.

They had both lions and tigers.
The joke in father of the pride is that most people think of white tigers, not lions when they think Siegfried and Roy.

I remember watching this...
It was... surreal.

i thought the joke in FotP was that they were crazy and had an entire Zoo worth of animals.
I remember the S&R bits being funnier than the lion family sitcom plots

Oh there's an even more baffling take on the same subject.
"Tenko and the Guardians of the Magic"
Saban produced a cartoon starring a magician virtually unknown outside of Japan.
Not sure why the same company that massacred Kamen Rider decided to cash-in on the fame (?) of this singer-turned-magician.

This was part of the cartoon lineup of the most popular Mexican public access channel during the 90s.

It was surprisingly good, then again, I may be biased because I have seen them live in Vegas during their prime. It was pretty awesome. They went through the audience before the show and asked folks how their day was and if they were having fun in Vegas, etc. Who does that anymore these days?
Altogether bro-tier folks, really.
Last time I saw reference to this. Was that episodes of Futurama.

Different Magician.
Like, the cartoon was based off of some... I don't know.
Some radio show or whatever that was produced in Atlanta.

So why did this one never catch on? Looks great

Best part was the Princess's breasts. Didn't help the location shoots were colds and the costume didn't cover much.
I wanted to fuck that doll.
The C.L.O.D. is still neat, but the animation is fucked

Only had one episode also had an NES game
Happy Castle. All I can find online are pics of cat-waifu Lolita, and the intro I put on houtube a while ago. This was my 1991 Sunday morning comfy show. Better than crappy-ass Mr. Bogus and The Smoggies, but not Happy Ness. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=py_dANYDp3Y
