All journeys must end some day.
It is no different for Herbie Popnecker.
A rather good lil' series all said and done.
Let's see how it rounds out at the end here.
This is-
Herbie Popnecker, The Fat Fury #18-23
And here we go...
What a comfy comic.

Indeed.
The art's ability to deadpan everything really helps to sell the entire tone.

FINAL ISSUE
What a ride, huh?
The very last story is actually a reprint of the very first story from the anthology this spun off from.
Oh Herbie.

Who owns the rights to Herbie? Because I would love to see him as a Doom Patrol villian or something, since he's very much like Yankee Doodle and the other weird shit from Morrison's run. Especially if the writing is a tongue in cheek depiction of him as the unstoppable, existential horror on the level of Stardust that he is.
Can Herbie defeat Saitama?

Yes, but not by physical means. I think both would just come to understand that they don't actually want or need to fight and just get along.

Supposedly public domain. Alan Moore was offered to do a Herbie run but he didn't want to because he's only interested in the original creators' take.
