The sad thing is the Arrow cast's acting was way better than normal on the Flash. I actually liked Flash Felicity more... besides the part where her drama literally got everything and everyone killed.

I wouldn't really call myself a Flashfag. The first season was overall great, but this new season is just okay. Losing the "real" Harrison and Eddie took a ton of steam out of the show. Their version of Jay just flat out sucks and can't act to boot. Even with E2 Harrison there, it's just a cheap ploy to try and keep things that made S1 successful but without the emotion that made it work so well.
It's still miles better than Arrow ever was though. I mean lets be real here, S2 of Arrow was for the most part solid and an improvement over S1, but it had a lot of retarded choices like Brother Blood clearly going nowhere, the asspull Ravager move and Deathstroke's entire motivation was muh unrequited love. Honestly the fight choreography really saved the show.
I like to think that the squad of ghosts ruthlessly killing felicity was a metaphor for all the people irl who just couldn't stand her anymore.
I think it's pretty clear that the writers went fucking nuts when they got a green light to kill her off.
