Dawn of the Croods is now on Netflix, anyone watched it yet? What did you think of it?
They look so cute!
Look ugly.
They look ok
They look
Look
ook
oo
It put me in a certain mood
>mood
>crood
>>78406195
Fuck you, fags, I liked The Croods. The humour was decent, some ideas used in the movie were interesting and I cared for characters. Some animals designs are shit and the plot is dumb but I it honestly could be worse.
Which episodes are Mir and which episodes are Bardel.
I thought it was Dave the Barbarian for a moment.
A little bit grim making it a prequel though, don't you think?
They even say in the movie that they're the last family around the area because everyone else (so, the entire supporting cast in this show) is dead.
>Artemis now voices Eep
Muh dick
Who's that new black haired girl again? She's cute.
But I like doofy girls.
>We'll never get classic Chris Sanders Eep
I enjoyed the movie, but something about this trailer is off-putting.
>>78406195
Oh boy, I sure do like me some flash trash!
the drawing is a bit crude
At least the girls look cute now.
>>78407053
Easy, senpai.
It took me the entire episode to realize they are lizard coyotes.
I was all, these don't look part lion at all!
>>78409606
You know what this oddly reminds me of? George of the Jungle.
>>78409606
Looks crude. The humor seems a little dry.but I'll watch it because Eep makes my willy whistle
Why does this get a TV show spinoff, but Rise of the Guardians is still left hanging? The latter has way more scope for TV plots and in-universe development. I mean I liked both films, but if I had to pick one to develop into a show I know which would be the more obvious choice.
>>78410378
They're letting money talk, Croods has made the most (which is to say, some) money of their recent films while guardians was in their catalog of many financial failures.
>>78407137
Surprisingly, the shittier-looking ones are Mir.
>>78410378
>>78411195
Hell, even the book series timetable got fucked up by the movie's failure. The last novel kept getting pushed back to the point where they ended up already revealing the inevitable twist that Nightlight became Jack Frost in the new picture book.
>>78411195
Yeah, I could understand this if they were riding sort of a post-release wave of interest. But realistically both films are 2, or 3 years old - although Turbo and Peabody and Sherman also didn't perform well financially and it still got its own spinoff. Plus RotG has the books to draw material from.I just need more Jack desu.
>>78411195
That sucks Rise of the Guardians was awesome
Santa's naughty and nice list are sleeve tattooes? Brilliant
>>78406195
That doesn't look too bad at all.
>>78406195
MILF
I
L
F
>>78408215
I'm actually okay with that.
I love the way Sanders draws women but I prefer the final product version of Eep to his design, she looks more distinctive in the movie.
I thought this was animated by a Youtube kid for a second
Finished watching the movie today, and damn CGI has come a long way, its absolutely gorgeous at some parts.
There's a real disconnect here.
Like the format is completely different between episodes.
>>78409606
huh, in motion it actually doesn't look that bad.
>>78411542
And that was his call too. Redesign was Sanders way of emphasizing her superstrength and athleticism.
>>78409606
Girls are really cute, so if nothing it will be good for waifu faggotry.
>>78407459
>the show takes place right when everyone else was alive
>you get to see what life was like before everyone died horribly
They're cuter in the cartoon.
>>78406195
NOT A MONKEY!!
>>78406195
I've only seen a few episodes, but I'm liking it so far. The stories have been nice and designs satisfactory. The characters aren't bad either.
Eep and Ugga look good in this media.
The girls are cute and the animation isn't really too bad, it's like early 00's style of cartoons
>>78415769
so porn when?
bring on the cave women porn
>>78416068
>>78415813
I too desire to see some heavy grooming going on between Eep and the new girl.
now they're starting to parody their own fondness of season ending cliffhangers.
>>78406195
where is porn of the baby?
>>78417313
I have seen some from the movie. I don't think there was some from the series.
>>78406195
This was pretty lame. The art style is alittle off a and they really miscast Gronk. He sounds like an weak nicolas cage instead of a brutish nicolas cage.
>>78407053
> "it could be worse"
Legitimating the slow descent into shit of movies in a nutshell
>>78411804
I saw it in 3D twelve times when it came out. The use of colours was mind boggling. Good story too.
Canada:
>>78409606
Mir:
>>78414863
Mir looks surprisingly shit.
>The producer literally told the animators to remove smears they did because he didn't understand them
>>78409606
Lerk. Good. Good. I expect Simon to notice her too. Soon.
are there pornographic materials yet?
why are their upper bodies so bigits making me hard
>>78421320
They are cavemen.
>>78421258
Don't be so crood.
I think I like this way more than I should.
She's like a cavegirl Tomoko Kuroki.
>>78421431
That somehow watched anime.
You know what? Fuck Christmas, I think I'll just watch this instead.
This style is giving me "the replacements" vibe
>>78422778
To me, it's like a visual mix of Replacements, Penn-Zero, Dan Vs and just a tiny hint of Dave the Barbarian.
>>78422905
Does that change based on if it's Canadian thick line animation or Korean thin line animation?
>>78422956
Oh wow...the couple of random episodes I've watched so far were the thick line animations.
Man, the diffence to almost every other episode is a little jarring.
>>78423256
Are they just sourcing it to both at the same time?
They're pretty evenly distributed.
I guess Bardel has a lot on its plate already since they do basically every Netflix dreamworks show is sourced to them.
>>78411542
Movie Eep looks like garbage
>>78423832
You look like garbage.
kinda krickfalusi looking
Is this a story about excess bringing their own downfall or something, in the movie they go to desperate lengths just to get one egg to feed most of them for the day.
Gotta say I approve of more Stephanie Lemelin.
Artemis in Young Justice, the Female Player in Sunset Overdrive, certain staff members in MGS 5 and now this, her croaky voice just pushes all the right buttons for me.
>>78425239
In the show they smash eggs for fun.
Well, I just binged the whole season. Kept me entertained. I hope it gets another season.
Just wish the son wasn't used solely for comedic purposes.
>>78425307
Give it a bit. Netflix shows are done in batches so they may change it up a bit going froward. Maybe add a season long plot like Puss in Boots.
Need to watch the Dragon One.
>>78425294
Well they moved to another valley right? So there's probably more food around there then.
>>78425534
Dragons is good, that's the first show where they start out the gate with 13 episode batches instead of 5.
Season 2's going to be great, even if it is likely going to end with a cliffhanger, since that seems to be what every DWA Netflix show does now.
I wanna fuck Eep
>>78425717
I'm pretty okay with that as its Netflix and they are going to keep making these for a while and they seem to be on the ball at writing long form plots once they got used to it.
How has that live action one they did Richie Rich pan out? Has it improved if anyone cared to check or did it just get written off as the standard Disney Nick garbage. I've seen a good number of Girls Meets World so I know shows can do better and get into some issues if they give a damn and yet still be funny. Can't wait for President Eric to be a thing in that show.
>>78407459
That's how I feel about the clone wars cartoon
>>78407459
>>78413946
Until Dawn of the Croods
>>78421431
sadly this is not my fetish
>>78423832
Series Eep definitely looks better.
As tight as those pelts looks, there should be some cleavage shots with some of these female characters.
I gotta draw some Lerk, she's a cute.
Funny how the Flash animated episodes actually look BETTER, to me anyway.
>>78433739
I really like Lerk's flash design, but I think overall I may prefer the look of the non-flash episodes.
Haven't decided yet.
>>78433739
She's like a Cavegirl Hortense.
>>78433899
I dunno, something about the non flash episodes rubs me the wrong way.
Also holy shit why did they change Lerk's design, that's not nearly as good.
>>78433739
Agreed. The non-Flash episodes are poorly-drawn and off-model.
>>78434096
I think the main characters look a bit better in the non-flash episodes, but the supporting characters look better in the flash episodes.
>>78434250
Man, the thing that bugs me about Eep's design is her hair. It just looks like a SOLID ORANGE MASS.
>>78434281
Yeah, I guess they just went with something that was quick and easy to do.
Why does the show switch from George of the Jingle to The Replacements?
Some Lerk practice, nothing too crazy, but trying to get her down.
>>78435646
Nice.
>>78409606
That was pretty cute.
>>78435646
>>78435700
>>78435198
How many episodes use this design? the other pictures of her don't look real good
>>78438104
Unfortunately, of the 3 episodes made in Flash Lerk only appears in episode 2.
So all her other appearances use this design.
>>78438543
They really dropped the ball with the non-flash animated designs.
>>78438757
Heh. It's not often you find yourself wanting flash.
>>78411195
Why did their marketing team hate RotG so much? It was honestly shitty marketing that lead to its failure. That and being dumb enough to open around the same time Twilight did. They kept trying to market it as some quirky humor movie with the elves as the next Minion mascots, when it was not even close to that.
>>78409606
that... wasn't half bad. Solid physical humor, the animation isn't bad in motion, better than most stuff out there these days at least. Huh.
>>78438543
That's what fan art is for. It'd be criminal to let that design go to waste.
>>78439344
Indeed.
>>78439260
Can't just blame the marketing. The movie pales in comparison to the books and the early drafts. There's a high fantasy with touches of space opera in the source material and Pitch was a far more compelling villain than the MCU Loki knockoff we got in the film.
So I don't know anything about this series so I have to ask those that have seen it, does this take place pre or post film?
>>78439396
Before the movie.
>>78439419
So canonically speaking every character other than the Croods themselves are slated to die?
>>78414863
What the fuck happened to Mir?
>>78439434
Basically.
>>78439486
Neat
>>78439419
No Guy or Belt?
FUCKIN' DROPPED.
>the granny's tits hang so low they just do a medium close up
kek
>>78439434
will they retcon that so the people just moved away instead of dying
>>78406195
>mfw favorite recent Dreamworks movie is getting more content
>mfw more art of my waifu
I'm so happy I can't even
>>78406195
I can tell it's shit from the screenshot you just posted.
>post it in our cartoons-dedicated group
>EVERYONE hates it
Damn, is it really that awful?
A while back we actually had an anon come here claiming he worked in the canadian studio responsible for animating this show.
He said there was all sorts of retarded bullshit going on like the animation director telling them to not use smears because he didnt understand what the fuck they were. He then said they only got to animate a handful of episodes before the show was handed off to a a shitty korean studio that just halfassed everything and used downgraded animation and designs.
>>78441917
grill yourself, mang
>>78442739
I can believe it. There were no smears, and the Korean episodes looked crisp and utterly soulless.
>>78439448
It's not Mir. It's Dong Woo, the studio that animated Ben 10.
