With the third movie coming out next year, it's clear that Nickelodeon is just going to sit on the last dozen-or-so episodes of this series out of spite. They will never see the light of day, and DreamWorks can't get the rights to them to put them on iTunes or Netflix. So, they're lost forever.
Most people wouldn't consider that a bad thing. The show was pretty shitty. But it had some good things going for it. A few of the episodes actually played with proper dramatic themes, and some of the villains were respectable enough.
Can we have a thread about this cartoon? It may be the last time somebody cares enough to make one.
So who did they get to play Po since Jack Black probably didn't do this.

With all of Dreamworks' work considered, it was one of their better TV shows.
All the hooved hotties throwing themselves at Po in season 2...Lu Shi doesn't count.

It was better than any of the television cartoons, sans season two of Dragons.
Pretty much all of the Netflix cartoons are better.
The dragon special gets a lot of heat for how it butchered the movie's message - mainly in that Po actually did have something special that made him a hero. Some sort of chi that he inherited from Oogway.
But I appreciated one scene despite all of that. Shifu comes up with a plan that requires him to get killed by the dragon. While attempting to execute that plan, Po tries to save him, so Tigress fights Po so that Shifu can die.
It's really a nice setup. The scene should have been so much better than it was, but it was altogether somewhat disappointing. It should have carried more emotional weight than it did. They did acknowledge that Tigress views Shifu as her father, but they could have done more with it.

People said that about the last episodes of The Penguins of Madagascar and those eventually showed up a long time later.

I don't know, but it was a bad split. Nckelodeon never even finished airing Penguins of Madagascar, their first show together. Not even the big special with Conan O' Brian.
DreamWorks eventually jumped ship to Cartoon Network before settling on Netflix.
