Pick a /co/ character you love, hate or wanna bang, whatever. They're in a "face to face with unknowable cosmic horror" scenario. How do they fair?
>He runs out of bullets
>Doomsday shows up
Quick question is he fighting the image you chose or the thing I'd pick?
>>78393873
The concept it self, so yeah it could be any of them.
>>78393785
it all makes sense now
>>78393785
>wanna bang
I picked Zatanna
If she can beat/trap it with magic she probably wouldn't do too bad.
>>78393785
>Aquaman
He's done it before
>>78394129
He runs out of cigarettes.
He runs out of batarangs.
>>78394346
ONE PUNCHHHHHH
>>78394411
>>78394411
Whether a quasi-immaterial star-spawn high priest of the Great Old Ones like Cthulhu has a basal ganglia at all is debatable.
>>78394346
He fought Cthulu off and forced him back in his hole
>Ben 10
Depends on whether he gets a good alien. Alien X, Atomix, Gravattack, Way Big, he might survive.
>>78395193
That's because writers tend to think he's just a big squid man in the water
>>78393785
He seals Cthulhu for good.
>>78396237
dr strange is a bitch who gets whispered to by weird alien and instantly becomes his puppet
>Bill Wilson
I had this weird thought about all these cosmic horrors/aberrations that surround Lovecraft's myths.
>They're capable of circumventing physical laws and reality
>Simply because they don't care
>They actually say verbatim "I don't care about (thing)."
>Not caring about something so hard that it becomes inapplicable to them
>Like Ork logic brought to the most extreme
>Only reason Cthulhu got put down by a boat is because he really didn't care to wake up then
>Creatures actually walk on the vacuum of space because they don't care to fly through it
Someone out there probably cares enough that reality is still a thing; but who knows anymore?
>>78394533
I would bet my immortal soul Cthulhu shares no human organs or physical properties.
He's not quite sure how to approach the problem at first, get's knocked around through a few different dimension a bit, contemplates the nature of existence and reality for a bit, then after a few tries finds the proper application of Power Cosmic to destroy or seal the thing away forever.
>>78397452
Azathoh the blind idiot god dreamt of this world with it's physics and linear time. One day he will awaken and probably decide it would all look better on fire.
>>78393785
>Reed Richard
Historically, very well.
Don't know how but it will work out. The moon might no longer exist though by the end of it.
Uh... he punches and kicks it a lot, shoots every beam he can until his Color Timer blinks, then he pulls some bullshit deus ex machina power out of his ass that manages to wipe out the otherworldly abomination in the nick of time.

STONAAAAA SUNSHIIIIIIIIINE!!!!!!!!!!
>>78399165
>Cthulhu
>being controlled by aquaman
No, fuck you. Not even taking into account the merest whisper of Cthulhu's thoughts are capable of driving anyone insane, he isn't fucking aquatic-based being. Aquaman would have no capability of commanding him.
>>78393785
>Hank Pym
I always had an idea for an elseworlds-type comic where he and Reed Richards investigate some Lovecraftian scenarios with a Marvel twist in the early 20th century.
Pym would probably try to stop the horror and put his mind to the grindstone in the process.
>>78393785
>Bill
He is the unknowable cosmic horror
Cthulhu has a very bad day.
>tfw casuals around you thought Cthulhu is at the top of the Lovecraftian totem pole.
>>78393785
>Black Adam vs Nyarlatothep
Even I can't comprehend it.
>>78401544
Cthulu is literally the Batman or the Wolverine of Lovecraft
>>78401771
He is Aaron to Nyarlahotep's Moses.
>>78399122
Remember, he has to piss and moan about his origin first, and how he can never be with his love Shalla-Bal and how Zenn-La is lost to him forever and how he's alone in the unvierse and all that other I-Need-A-Xanax shit.
>>78399158
Great. I just Googled Azathoh and now I'm cursed. Fuck am I gonna do with 37 penises hanging from my groin?
>>78402622
Call me.
>>78395193
DC "cthulhu" sure, real cthulhu would fuck dat nigga up
Normal Hal would go down, but Parallax or Spectre could get pretty damn interesting.
>>78396237
Reading that just instantly turned me off from being interested in anything doctor strange
>le flying elephant octopus
Why is this meme monster supposed to be scary?
Are its fans really just obnoxious?
>magik
She would be fine. Last time she had to deal with something like this she manipulated things so that Legion wiped them from existence
>>78402975
Its fans are really obnoxious but it's scary because it's unknowable and nothing we've got can do sweet fuck all against it.
What it appears in the book it gets rammed in the head with a boat and regenerates almost immidiately after.
I think it's also one of the few elder beings what has any foothold in out reality too, so if it wakes up we get fucked left, right and center. Been years since I read any Lovecraft.
