There are doors you yank bastards.
>>
>>78381130
Fucking finally
!>>78381142
I liked it. Hyped for Negative's arc.
>>
Thanks for the story time OP.

Does this mean that Scorpio is actually trying to make P.I richer than it alraedy is?

Alos what's up with the Ock Bot?
>>
So has Slott given any indication to when he's leaving?
>>
>>78380972
I actually do love Slott's Spider-Man this time around, it's alright as opposed to the shit that came around directly after Superior.
>>
>>78381193
He wants to be the longest runner on Spidey
Because lord knows he won't get any recognition for his skills as a writer, so squatting and unseating Stan as the longest runner is his goal

The original cover (pic related) to this issue featured the likenesses of the cast of the TV show The Thick Of It on a bus.
>>
Is this means that black girl is not the one who ratted them out?
>>
>>78381248
Ross has good taste
>>
>>78381266
As far as I understand - no. But Sajani is still a bitch and deserved it.
>>
>>78381266
Nah, it was Otto from what it seems at least.
>>
>>78381019
Wait, Johnny Storm is with SHIELD? I thought Jim Hammond was the Torch with SHIELD
>>
>>78381311
Their costume is the same to make matters worse.

>>
>>78381062
Where's Captain Britain, Union Jack, Spitfire and all the other British heroes when you need them?
>>
>>78381101
How long did it take them to get from NYC to here? How long were the Zodiac in this museum? Why didn't any British superheroes show up in that time?
>>
>>78381338
Marvel barely if ever uses them.

So, you'll rarely see them at all.

Also their mini-event did not bring in sales whatsoever.
>>
>>78381283

Octopus bot did. You see him in the room when Parker discovers it.
>>
>>78381125
>>78381130
Wait, how did Scorpio just waltz out with all those superheroes, SHIELD agents and cops around?
This is even worse than the way Norman Osborn escaped at the end of Goblin Nation
>>
The zodiarts were cooler zodiac themed villains.
>>
>>78381248
>>78381272

He only knows of the show because of Dr. Who, don't let him fool you.
>>
>>78381180
Ock put a copy of his mind into a computer during Spider-verse I believe, which would automatically activate after a set amount of time. He put his copy into the Anna Maria AI which was used for that butlerbot.
>>
Thanks, OP.
>>
>>78381433
Ah, thank you anon.
>>
>>78381167

You know, I recall - during Dark Reign - Mr. Negative used his abilities on Spiderman.

Spidey proceeded to seriously fuck up the entire Sinister Six. All right, it was a pretty shitty version, but he wrecked them. (I think it was Dark Reign: Mr. Negative.)
>>
Now this is the kind of shannegins that the Doc Ock of old would get up to, and it's great that Peter does the smart thing cutting Sanjani loose, but in typical "P-luck" fashion, it's for something she may be entirely innocent of.
>>
>>78381508
Yes, it was. It was supposed to be one-time thing, but he apparently is going to use it in the next arc.
I really like Negative. He strikes this balance of weird supervillain and mafia boss perfectly.
>>
>>78381016
Oh, Otto. I missed you so much.
>>
>>78381325
No it isn't. Jim's is a recolored version of Fury's, with the star replaced by a flame. Johnny's is modeled after the Inhumans' new suits.
>>
>>78381327
Fury Jr. is nowhere near Sr.'s levels of KEIKAKKU.
>>
>>78381433
So this is Otto from Spiderverse and not the Otto who got character development during Superior Spiderman?
>>
>>78381603
I mean similar.
>>
How does Mockingbird know Peter's identity, but not Nick Fury? I mean Nick Fury should know since in his original universe, Peter Parker died and was unmasked to the whole world
>>
>>78381611
Spider-Verse was during the later part of Superior.
>>
>>78381630
Not that Fury. This Fury is the son of the original.
>>
>>78381630
Mockingbird knows because Bendis.
>>
>>78381635
No it wasn't, Spider-Verse happened when Otto was full on "I'm the best ever" mode. He didn't start changing until after it.
>>
>>78381355
>How long did it take them to get from NYC to here?
They were at the London branch of PI
>>
>>78381690
He was teleported to 2099 and right into Verse during #19. Of 30.
>>
>>78381611
Yes, he met 616 Peter Parker from after Superior. At first he thought that he was from an earlier time period, but at some point realized that he would eventually lose control of Pete's body, so he built in a safety mechanism to return.
>>
>>78381130
Way to go, Pete. You just created a new super-villain.
>>
>>78381231
If you count Ultimate, Bendis is the one to beat, and seeing as how he is STILL writing Spider-Man, Slott ain't taking that record.
>>
>>78380996
Did anyone understand that?
>>
>>78381711
I think what he means is that Otto never actually developed a sort of humility until after Osborn showed up and fucked everything up. So technically, >>78381611 is correct, although he probably should've mentioned which stage of his character development.
>>
>>78381947
That's because Bendis wants to have the longest run on any one book in Marvel history. Unfortunately, since that book happens to be Spider-man, it conflicts with Slott's goal of having the longest Spider-man run.

Basically, the two of them will be writing Spider-man until the other dies.
>>
>>78381963
Seems pretty simple to me.

>Prior to hacking into SHIELD, they built fake bases on various points on the world, spaced out to be a search grid on the entire world
>While SHIELD thinks they hacked into Zodiac with their satellite network, Zodiac is using that same network to also scan the entire world to look for something.
>Peter can tell that SHIELD is being hacked due to a small lag on the feed
>When the lag ends, Zodiac is no longer hacking SHIELD
>The lag ends when SHIELD is scanning around London.

It's hilariously impractical in the way that most comic book villain plots are, but the "What?" makes more sense than the "WHY?!" does.
>>
>>78382031
>That's because Bendis wants to have the longest run on any one book in Marvel history.
But isn't the Bendis/Bagley literally the longest single partnership in Marvel history, if not American comics in general?
>>
>>78382150
Longest run by a single creative team, yeah. But Claremont still holds longest run on any one book.
>>
>>78381089
What's he swinging on?
>>
>>78381379
They were all to busy with their fights. You have to remember Pete darting them took a few second Scorpio just ran out of the museum and probably ditched his costume super fast.
>>
>>78380988
...I'm shipping them now.
>>
>>78381266
>black
She's either middle eastern or Indian
>not the one who ratted them out?
Most likely Ock trying to be the superior hero.
Or Stormin' Norman, because 90% of unexplained shit in Spideys life all goes back to Osborn.
>>
>>78382404
Anon, spider-man's been around for almost 60 years and you're only asking that shit now? Get the fuck out.
>>
>>78381630
I think Fury was pretending not to know because other people present didn't know. Johnny tells Peter to contact spider-man as they leave the room.
>>
>>78381711
He didn't get humbled until after that. Issue 19 had his arrogance at an all time high
>>
>>78382740
You weren't before? Step up your Spider-Man game, man.
>>
Can someone sum up what happened after spider-verse? I've been out of the game for a while because of studies and I can't be assed to real all of those issues written by Dan Shit
>>
>>78384049
>Can someone sum up what happened after spider-verse?
A few issues of filler followed by the universe ending then being brought back more or less the same.
>>
>>78381630
Spidey revealed his identity during Dark Reign to the then team of New Avengers. Mockingbird was there I think, if not, she found out around that time anyway.

Nick Fury Jr. who has no relation to Ultimate Nick and is actually 616's son, wasn't informed anything. He's not even the acting director of S.H.I.E.L.D. unless something changed in the eight month time skip post Secret War, he's just a higher ranking guy.
>>
>>78381167
>Hyped for Negative's arc.
...why? Its just going to be shitting on Cloak and Dagger.
>>
>>78381338
>>78381361
Damnit, now I just want to read some Excalibur.
>>
>>78382078
What a fucking asinine plot.

So Zodiac built all those fake bases, spent all the money, on the off chance they could get Peter Parker to toss them his Parker device?! Just if they have the technical ability to piggyback on SHIELD's computers: then why the fuck didn't they just do that in the first place?!?! If SHIELD can scan the planet, then hack and make them do it. This way, not only did they waste time and resources building fake bases, but they tipped off SHIELD.

Typical shitty hack slott plotting, in which logic never makes an appearance.
>>
>>78384783
Nick Fury Jr. knows Spider-Man's identity. Peter made it clear in ASM Vol. 4 #1 (the first issue of the Peter Starker storyline).
>>
>>78381016
based Ock
>>
>>78381737
So lets take bets on whether or not Sajani goes and works with Black Cat again.
>>
>>78381033
Why it is "Spider-Man's" facial recognition software? Shouldn't it be Parker Industries' software?
>>
>>78381016

Otto is in that lovable bot?

I MAY JUST FORGIVE YOU SLOTT
>>
>>78381069
subtle
>>
>>78385683
That was shown in the first issue of the current volume. People called it since the end of Superior. How is this good writing? Its predictable as fuck.
>>
>>78381080
Yeah, no. London does not have tall buildings. There are some skyscrapers in the City and at Canary Wharf, but much of London was built in the Georgian/Victorian era. I used to work near the British Museum; there are few, if any, skyscrapers in Bloomsbury.
>>
>>78381069
Doc-Bot is basically the only reason I'm reading this book.
>>
>>78381101
So, first Pete tries to buy off/bribe the Goblin Army in Africa, and now he tries to buy off the British Museum?

Thanks for nothing, shit for brains Slott.
>>
>>78385833
But anon, NO ONE knows Peter better than Slott! Writing Spider-Man is his DREAM job, Anon! He wouldn't give it up for ANYTHING!
>>
Why do you guys spend so much time finding ways to question and criticize the story

Comic books are supposed to be fun, this isn't a biology course you don't need to critique it as though it were a faulty hypothesis
>>
>>78385876
Fuck off, Danny. Go rim your own slott.
>>
>>78381094
>no guns.
lol, eurocucks.
>>
>>78385876
Yeah, they are supposed to be fun. They're also supposed to make sense and follow some form of internal logic.
>>
>>78381152
bretty good out of 10.
If nothing else, the plot actually advances quickly in slott's books.
>>
>>78385876
"fun" is the go-to word for the easily pleased.

Spider-Man books under the best writers are great mindful reads. Slott will never excel at that
>>
>>78385604
the bases were literally the size of a tv set. You can quit rubbing your hate boner.
>>
>>78385511
Because I like Negative. And their mini during Spider-Island already shitted on them.
>>
>>78386061
Aw, did pointing out the blatant stupidity make (not so) widdle Danny cry? Fuck off.

(the bases being the size of a TV set also makes SHIELD extremely moronic for falling for them. Couldn't their high faulting scans tell them that ahead of time?!)

high FALUTIN' scans, I mean.

No? Spider-man only has a small handful of stories that go beyond just "fun."
>>

How is this against Peters character anon.
>>
>>78381016

If he weren't a primary Spider-Man villain, I would be wishing he'd stay dead.
>>
>>78386267
If you have to ask...then you are indeed the audience for Slott's shitty slop.
>>
>>78380972

I've moved Slott up from "shit" to "pretty good". But the fat bastard is still on probation. I need to see a couple arcs end well.

Nigga...
>>
>>78381016
So is he going to try switching mind again?
>>
>>78386645
To be honest, his sense was always barely reacting to friends and family. There was at least 2 times May hit him with a vase.
>>78386666
Probably not. Somebody DID steal his body from the grave during Superoir.
>>
