Love & Rockets, a comic by the Hernandez Brothers printed by Fantagraphics. it started in '81 so you've got lots to choose from...try Jaime's collected stuff first, I understand Hopey
is something of a lesbian icon....(if you wanna splash cash it's the big Locas book that contains all of Maggie & Hopey's (her best friend/on/off lover) adventures. Beto's stuff has LGBT themes and characters but he's a little more sleazy at times than his brother, who never goes for titillation, really.
