Hey /co/ here is another comic about lady pirates.

How is everyone doing today?

Annoyed that Anne Bonnie was straight in real life, thus my yuri pirate fantasies are void.
I-I can still pretend that Mary Read was in love with her, but never acted on her feelings because she wanted her best friend to be happy... right?
>>78322263
Pretty good, trying to book time off so I can make it to a friend's engagement party.
Hey Dan, was it you that storytimed a horror comic called "Surface" or something like that? It was an apocalypse comic where these weird Coral Mountains grow out of the sea, and a good portion of the Earth's population get infected with something and melt into water. I think it got storytimed near Halloween, and I remember you did a whole bunch of horror storytimes.
>>78322340
Sure? I know next to nothing about Anne Bonnie so you could weave me an elaborate tale of forbidden love and I'd be unable to tell if it was true or not so keep your fantasies alive anon!
>>78322396
Yeah Surface Tension. It was kinda eh but I appreciate a lot of what it was trying to do.
>>78322434
I thought it had some cool ideas, and the art was really cool. Thanks for the name, I think I might download it.
Were lady pirates actually a thing? Wasn't having a woman on a ship back the supposed to be bad luck or something?
I figure a crew of superstitious idiots would have a hard time following a captain that was a woman.
>>78322219
>flintlock pistols without the flints, and with the frizzen tilted forward for maximum uselessness
I'll never understand artists that do this. It's like drawing a revolver but forgetting the revolving chambers or some shit.
>>78322480
>Were lady pirates actually a thing?
Oh yes, plenty in fact.
>I figure a crew of superstitious idiots would have a hard time following a captain that was a woman.
You've heard that, but in practice, they didn't really care. Out on the seas, you followed whoever managed to be the brains of the operation. If it happened to be a woman, whatever.
>>78322460
It was pretty interesting.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Women_in_piracy
There would have been a lot more females on ships if the world's navies didn't go be the rule that they needed to keep the men away from pussy to keep a tight ship. The "superstition" about women on ships was practically created by them to make sure no-one on the ship would want it, and certainly reinforced by them.
>>78322621
Not sure about the plot, but I liked the use of colour in it, so many horror comics have drab palletes.
Also, this comics pretty fun so far.
>>78322656
That is 100% true.
>>78322646
There should be one line on that wiki page, "There weren't many of them."
>>78322777
>Rips his shirt off in sheer rage
This is great.
How many issues is this?
>>78322857

Love these pirate sluts in Fate Grand Order.
