This, no contest.
People who claim to know what GA is about but then state they haven't read Grells run need to get to fuck. Its so valuable to the character and shows him as so much more than just funny, hippy hero that JLU or Nolan Bats in Arrow ended up stereotyping him as to casuals.
I haven't actually gotten round to reading O'Niels GA/GL yet tho, but as one of those other defining runs, how does it hold up today?
Easily one of my favourite runs ever. It takes a bit of a hit in quality after Grell leaves (especially some of the art) but it's good comics all the way up until Ollie bites it
I am really enjoying the first three trades. Hopefully they continue releasing the trades until the whole run is collected.
