It's almost like they're so busy with plot (which feels like it's losing direction) that they've sorta forgotten Alopex is there, and stopped developing her. Then they just kinda tossed her into a half-assed sparring session with Leo, like "Oh, CRAP! Forgot we have an OG Foot character to help train the reformed clan!!" Is the new Foot gonna be getting into old battles with other ninja clans? Has the Savate been forgotten? What about the dealings and obligations Shredder made to various criminal enterprises? I'm sure Shredder hadn't concluded all their deals before he got offed.

Turtles probably ended that shit off screen or will end it in coming issues. We've only had 2 issues, so i'll give it the benefit of the doubt in building up.

Alopex is like a shitty failed version of Renamon. Would Renamon be as beloved if she had a guy she was constantly blushing for? Hell no. And the only reason no one takes complains with Renamon's loyalty to Rika is because /co/ is filled with pedophiles who need to castrated.
But I digress, Alopex is worse than Krystal from Starfox. At least Krystal debuted as a Love Interest (and no the prototype Krystal was NOT even a fox when she was an actual main lead so zip it).
