Legend is really good; I obviously read the Marston run, and I read Secret History (a book ABOUT Wonder Woman, but still counts)
Wonder Woman also has a strong academic subtext, what with all the Drs and the like(co pointed out how her villians were nerds) Holliday College tooks it's cues from Harvard of course, the Holliday girls beeing based on the sorority he met Olive Bryne in, Wonder Womans fun society beeing based on his own similar college program, Profesoor Psycho beeinb based on his German anti woman psycho logy professor and so on.
