I actually enjoy Batman Eternal more than I did last year's weekly. It's corny in it's way, and not all the threads are great, but it has the Bat family doing family activities which is great, and the plot with mother and her designer human beings is neat enough

Seriously? Cause the best Two-Face stuff didn't lose sight of the fact that there's a good/bad dichotomy. The early Golden Age stuff was great because if the coin went "good" side up, he goes and donates the money he stole to charity or something. The comic strip had Bruce's friendship with Harvey leading Two-Face deciding to save Batman's life, and eventually Batman brings Harvey back from the abyss by revealing his identity. And even The Dark Knight was great in that Dent's missions as Two-Face was him out for revenge for not just his scarring but also Rachel's death. If he's completely evil then what's the point? You might as well bring out the other Two-Face pretenders to fill that role.

Nah Nu52 is on Harras and Lee. Johns was just the one who had to pull the trigger and help out. Johns is at least a competent writer who has his off days. Bendis is just terrible. Snyder's an average writer at worst he isn't even on Bendis's level.
