Finally off at college. Now old enough to watch Adult Swim. First couple shows is totally like King of the hill, bobs burgers and stuff that use to be shown on Fox as early as 5:30pm over the air back home.
All the weird shows are now around midnight but who the living heck intentionally stays up late for that?
In summary... Adult Swim. What's the freaking point?
I honestly can't tell if you're baiting or not.

I can't I just can't

I know some young people whos parents let them watch it but I think you're generally not supposed to hence the name. As I may have said we only got shows over the air. Even though I wasn't allowed to watch it there was no way I ever really could so it was sort of a non issue. Though when I visited my grandparents they could get it.
Thought some of you would like some of my dad's old hentai cds from the early 90s and late 80s.
You sound like hank

Adult Swim hasn't been worth watching on a nightly basis since the turn of the decade. You have to suffer through 4 hours of FOX shows just to get to a half hour of Robot Chicken and reruns of Aqua Teen and Squids that you've already seen a million times before.
They're too scared to change the formula now because they've been doing so well in the ratings and 18- 35 demographic.

Then why don't they make adult swim really late at night where I suppose it would make more sense. There are a bunch of shows I have never seen that late.
So what I suppose you are saying is that adult swim is pretty much spoiled.
Eh... Oh well. Wait years and years for nothing.
Oh right, you said it's successful now.

It used to be only late at night, but they kept expanding earlier and earlier to capture more primetime viewers.
But yeah, Adult Swim does have a pretty rich catalogue of roughly 15 years of good programming that I recommend looking into. They just don't air much of that stuff on tv anymore.

Ty. Maybe the library have the DVDs or tapes.
>>78038074
A lot of them are either on the Adult Swim website or on Hulu or you can torrent them too if you like.
Just curious, have you been exposed to any of their shows in the past?
>>78038275
I've seen DVDs of Beavis and butthead. Not sure if that is adult swim. Couldn't torrent well a few months ago because I had v92 dialup. But I get the jist of it. Fortunately I am not on campus because I heard they made people sign a paper that said they wouldn't use p2p stuff in the dorms.
Hey, maybe you can reccomend some. I sort of like survival and adventure television shows. Star trek is good too. I prefer the characters to be white but not neccesary. I find that I can identify better with people that look like me. Not racist.
Sagas are good. Anything like northern exposure may be funny. Frankly most of the shows I've seen on DVD or tape were 90s animes like outlaw star but that was recorded from adult swim back then.
The stuff I'm posting now is my dad's from way back then. Unfortunately it's a lot of nude stuff too so I can't post that here. I quite literally didn't live a very modern life because we lived so far away. But my dad did before we moved in 2001.

80s and 90s obscure hentai cds. Some batch and executable files and other strange formats. Games and midis.
>>78039171
Wow. Didn't even know that there were that many shows. Guess I gotta do some research. Thanks.
>>78039423
Yeah. And those are just the ones that I personally recommend too. Also, I'm not even going to start with anime, which is probably an even longer list.
>>78039171
BASED list, anon
I think I may have seen space ghost somewhere but something about the character seems familiar.
I'll be jiggered, Flintstones and Jetsons creator made adult cartoons? Huh...
I guess I have my work cut out for me thanks again for the recommendations and see you later alligator.
Hell yea, 80's hentai games
Fuck Seth McFarlane
>>78041960
Is it really his fault? He's pretty much just a voice actor at this point. He even wishes Fox would let Family Guy die.
>>78039171
>No Look Around You
>No Mighty Boosh
>No Garth Marenghi's Dark Place
Also, a li'l nitpick. Oblongs and Mission Hill were both syndicated WB(now CW) shows.
>>78042401
Ok true, but they pretty much have become unanimously associated with AS in way that stuff like the FOX shows or say the british Office haven't.
Oh yeah, I can't believe I forgot Boosh and Darkplace. I miss the brit block.
