I miss the threads we had. Good times were had whenever Paige was in an episode. The booty worship was inspiring.

My all-time favorite action cartoon. I love everything about this show, and it's a damn shame Disney drowned the Tron franchise because they obtained Star Wars and Marvel.
The animators and artists were god-tier as well. If you watch any scene where a character equips their helmet, for a split second you'll see protective pads extrude first that wrap around their head. Almost nobody will ever see it unless they're looking for it, and they did it anyway.

This still makes me sad. While the teen drama parts of the show were a little hit-or-miss with me, the writing was consistently good, the acting was almost always great and the music and visuals were top-notch. I think if this show went to online-only episode, like Legend of Korra did, I think it would've found an audience. I think the big problem with the series was that they didn't really know who they wanted to market it to: pre-teens or a slightly older demographic.
Tron: Uprising was one of those perfect shows. It had fantastic visuals, story, voicework, and a kicking soundtrack with nearly every episode being fun to watch. I'm sill fucking pissed that Disney completely dropped the ball in handling it at every opportunity. Why must everything I love be screwed by corporate meddling?

It was created to piggyback off the success of Tron: Legacy, but Legacy wasn't as successful as they wanted.
Now they have Marvel and Star Wars so that's it for Tron.
The reason it really bombed was because they put at 0:00 AM only once every Sunday on XD. So even if you owned XD you'd have to watch it in the middle of the night on a fucking Sunday like it's forbidden porn or some shit.
The real reason for why Disney decided to shit on it so badly is because: the jews were still butthurt about Legacy not making enough money compared to the production costs, so Disney's bright idea was to take a shit on the budget for Uprising by lowering the 3D animation to stiff talking and movement that makes Uprising look like it was animated in Flash. Also the fades used to be more bearable to watch. I think they put more erfort into the 2D texture faces before the budget went to hell.
But don't mourn it, anon. You will always have Reboot. A much hetter written show which doesn't limit itself to 1 story.

I hated how in Legacy, the only people who ever got focus where the people working with Flynn or Clu. Uprising was the only part of the franchise the regular programs ever got some real focus and it got me so much more invested in the setting. What is the likelihood of the Uprising being concluded in another media? Would y'all be interested? Would it carry the same weight if it was a novel or a comic, or if the animation style changed?
