ISIS is America's fault and I say this as someone who support the Iraq War. We invaded Iraq and in the resulting chaos when they disbanded the Iraqi Army, Al Qaida in Iraq, the predecessor to ISIS came to prominence and power in that vacuum as did an even more extreme jihadist ideology different from the traditional variants. So yes it's absolutely America's fault since we invaded Iraq in the first place and created the conditions for ISIS. ISIS would probably be one of many alphabet soup jihadist groups in Syria if it weren't for their occupied territories in Iraq.
