It's even worse in Bojack Horseman. The chickens bred for food look the same as people-chickens, but are just much less intelligent.

Man I love Nichijou. Best Jap slapstick and absurdist humor. Animation is fantastic too.
There was a webcomic with this, and it took until like last year to fucking retcon it because of the extremely inconsistent quality/art/writing style. People complain about shows like, say, Rick and Morty or other relatively new things slumping or changing in quality every season and every episode, while this comic, which I will not name, has been updated on-and-off since about 2009 (and has some pages from even earlier), and is the single most inconsistent thing ever written (yet for this alone, it still holds my attention).
