The rewards were dropped to lower prices from the Kickstarter, and the Kickstarter had raised about $220k before they ended it. This is about how much people were going to pay previously, adjusted for the cheaper rewards.

The cheaper rewards also means there's a bigger dip in how much goes towards the actual production of the pitch; which means they are basically going to try and shop around with a shittier pitch because they know they're having trouble getting enough money together.

There definitely isn't padding going on.
