It was pretty bland. A lot of the jokes seemed like they were out of early 2000 internet pop culture.
The worst part about it is that the book it's based on is great and Dreamworks is going to have a firm grip on the adaptation rights since they're developing a Netflix show and maybe a sequel.

I would've liked this movie better if it were about Tip being abducted by giant alien women with huge breasts who wanted to keep her as a pet/experimentation guinea pig.
I just watched it last week. It had the glimmerings of a really good movie with a genuine message, but they fucked up. I cringed so many times at:

I only watched it because the Croods was fantastic and I was hoping for more of the same. I was wrong Prometheus, I was so wrong.
