Everything he writes reads like a bad fanfiction wherein he just tries to stuff in as many pre-existing characters as he can and none of them get much character development or screentime and it's all very choppy and non-cohesive. The Mega Man spin-off games sold very poorly. The entire Mega Man Zero series (including the Zero Collection for the DS) barely sold more than 1.5 million, which is abysmal when pitted against a much superior game, such as Sonic Rush, which managed to sell 3 million on its own. I won't even get into Mega Man Battle Network, as I already have a hunch that it did just as poorly. Even the best-selling Mega Man title, Mega Man 2, only managed to sell 1.5 million copies. If that doesn't scream worthless, then I don't know what does! In terms of sales, he was always as good as dead, and I'm surprised it took Capcom this long to realize this. The Street Fighter series (which you seem to have something against for some reason) has always done them good, making decent sales and bringing a lot of attention towards them through fighting tournaments and online streams. THAT is the definition of a classic landmark series, NOT some silly cartoon character made to sucker in 8-year-olds.
And I was serious about taking a break from posting, good God, this has to be one of the worst posts I've read here on /co/, and I've been here for 5 years. Maybe take this to /vr/ where you'll fit right in with the rest of the deluded manchildren there.

That's real cute. Megaman games dried up 100% because nobody was biting into them anymore. Megaman 9 itself was basically the death knell for the series, showing that Capcom was unwilling to commit to anything more intensive than a low-budget nostalgia cash-in nes knockoff for their supposed 'mascot'. They probably would have stopped years earlier if Inafraud wasn't around to keep it on life support.
Megaman today exists only as a merchandising tool because that's the only way Capcom can squeeze any money out of the dried up husk that is the megaman IP, and judging by the comic getting axed, I'd say it won't be long until the IP dries up entirely and dies for real.

Even ignoring its pivotal role in the death of megaman, it's a fighting game, and as such is intrinsically worthless, ugly, and deeply unsatisfying to play, as is the case with every fighting game besides skullgirls. Regardless, the page time she took up could have gone to develop some of the actually canon characters. MM is hardly the franchise where introducing OCs is necessary, yet we got three right in the second fucking arc. Meanwhile pacing for the game arcs was up the ass, either too drawn out, or too rushed. But oh well, let's just be happy for those quick one-panel cameos while the OC squad gets half of the second to last issue, right?
