Aye. I like to explain it like this:
When you are 5 years old, every year from that prespective is a fifth of your life. As life goes on, and you reach, say 20 years old, now every year is a twentieth of your life, a piece of life four times smaller. And this years seem to fly buy as time goes on. I always wondered if people who write immortal characters take that into consideration. Like I honestly can't imagine living ten thousand years. Excluding how people's philosophies might change, just looking at how would you view time? How would it FEEL? An hour for me certainly feels a lot shorter than it use to when I was a kid, even when I am bored now.
