Has anyone brought up Pre Vizsla yet? He had a decent showing even if he didn't outright win any of the duels. Even gave Maul a good run.
The thing to remember, though, is that sword fighting is actually one of the least expressions of the Force, it's just the showiest. This week gave us great examples of how much better they have it over "normies" from Vader activating that dude's grenades with a clench of his fist, or Kanan and Ezra making Stormies look like chumps. Maul could have handled Vizsla with a Force choke but was bound by the rules of engagement - though even then Pre had no restrictions on his Mando toys.
There's just a point at which anyone with the Force dueling with somebody who doesn't have it is usually being very generous. Grievous is an exception, though they did use the Force against him a couple of times. Not just that he's a cyborg but he's a cyborg designed specifically to counter some of the Jedi tricks, or at least alleviate them. His enhanced strength and armor, his claw feet, his multiple arms, his grappling line, etc.

That doesn't make any sense in context. There is no reason why Aresko would have been saying, "At least no civilians got hurt!" as if the Empire ever cared about their sheep. Aresko meant the troopers didn't suffer any deaths to play up how valiantly they surely fought against the wiles of the Jedi, who truly lives up to their reputation. i.e. it wasn't our fault we failed, he was a Jedi. And Tarkin wasn't impressed either way.

A fight in a movie should always look real and engaging. The final battle between Luke and Vader wasn't well choreographed, in fact Luke was just wailing at Vader, but it was such a great emotional climax because Luke felt like a real pissed off human, not like a soulless robot.
I think there should be a mix between astounding choreography and real human emotions. The OT duels were a bit underwhelming, but the PT duels were way too over the top.

Ahsoka had some help from her friends and ultimately ran away. She even took a hit from her own "I didn't miss!" attack despite knowing beforehand that it was going to explode.
It's not much different than her fights against Grievous where she's barely able to hold her own and is always forced to escape after, usually with the help of happenstance or backup showing up.
That said, though, Ahsoka is hardly just any Padawan. She's Anakin Skywalker's Padawan. Forget arguments of plot armor or "mary sue" bs complaints, just the fact that she's been able to keep up with Anakin says a lot about her. It's not something that she had in her, as such, his aggressiveness really rubbed off on her. Not always to her benefit but it has made her a pretty fierce and determined fighter.
