Yep, having a tie give it away.
>>
So when will Ward get one?

What's the point of having a tie if you don't button your shirt?!
>>
I always knew grey vest was the dastardliest villain in the MCU.
>>
>>77752560
But he did nothing wrong.
>>
>>77752565
You don't need to button the jacket if you already have a waistcoat.
>>
whos the guy in the upper middle?
>>
>>77752617

Dr.Whitehall from AoS.

He was a pretty great villain.

Why did they kill him off so quickly?
>>
Is this a reblog? Didn't notice the suit though.

*Edit*

Wow, you're really smart, here's some reddit gold!

>Why did they kill him off so quickly?
Welcome to the MCU
>>
>>77755183
I don't care about them killing off villains in the movies or at the end of a season, but when you have an interesting villain it's pretty lousy to kill him off after 4 episodes.
>>
>>77752560
>Ward
>villain
Pick one. Right now he's the closest we have to a hero at this point. I'm honestly rooting for him to kill everyone but Coulson (who reveals himself as Ward's real father and they've been in cahoots with each other all the time) and then they rule the world and the moon together as husband-father and son-wife.

Eh, this shit's gonna be like Ultimates all over again.

Keep killing off famous/dynamic villains and then being too retarded to make a decent character to replace them so they just turn a good guy evil for arbitrary reason #16 and then don't kill off because "bluh".

Clearly, being a former hero precludes you getting a bullet in the head.
>>
>>77755419
Except the Ultimates is a series and MCU is mostly movies.

Jessica Jones already showed us how horrible it is when you adapt the "WE CAPTURED THE VILLAIN, OH NO! THE VILLAIN ESCAPED!" schtick from comics.

Villain Immunity is one of the worst parts of comics.

Whiplash, Obeidiah Stane, Red Skull, Ronan the Accuser, Yellowjacket, Malekith and Abomination are all gone. Probably Ultron's dead as well.

Out of our surviving villains, we've Loki (who isn't really a villain), Thanos (who's done sweet fuck all yet besides whine like a tard), Crossbones (a character that's shit without Red Skull) and the Kingpin who will probably never have anything to do with the movies. That's it,

Now, that's not an all-star cast of villains. Really, they're all shite besides Loki and Thanos and Thanos is definitely going to die, probably with Loki fully redeeming himself with a heroic sacrifice.

Jessica Jones had some big faults, the worst being its plot which was more down to shitty writing and unintuitive ideas. Kilgrave could easily have been put into a coma, given brain damage or simply made brain dead until he was needed for plotonium's sake again; he was also probably the best MCU villain we've had, for character exploration and on screen presence.

The way things are going, we're just going to keep burning through top-tier villains and let shitty no-name second stringers hang on. Unless you're tumblr's husbando anyway. Also, villain immunity is as bad as hero immunity but with the way Marvel sells its comics, it can't afford to kill people off because it sells on legacy.

Valiant Comics is able to do stuff like that though but that's because its done very differently to the others.
>>
>>77755459
Also, for fuck sake, we bring back Coulson and you're still trying to make it out like Villain Immunity is bad?

They can't fucking decide if he's evil or not, he keeps fucking flipflopping and its god damn awful.
>>
>>77756530
Where did he flip flop? Closest is two and he isn't so much good as useful to the good team. He makes a break for it as soon as it's opportune then takes out Odin.
>>
>>77756502
>Abomination
>Is at SHIELD
No it's not. The Army has it.
Remember, "The Consultant":
-- MCU one-shot short-film of Coulson and Sitwell talking about the Abomination.
-- They agreed that the Army can keep him and they need to send the most obnoxious and inept SHIELD representative to talk to Gen. "Thunderbolt" Ross about *the problem*
-- They sent Stark ...

Ward's Hydra is cool, hip and sexy.
>>
>>77756696
And then later in AoS he is said to be in their containment
>>
>>77755725
The Mandarin is still around too. Both Trevor and the REAL Mandarin we never see but confirmed to exist in the "Long Live the King" short.

The only reason to keep a villain alive at the end of a story is for later use. Closure generally demands the villain die, either literally or by being so thoroughly redeemed they're no longer useful as a villain (and that's a very rare option). Comics are prone to keeping villains alive because they always want them for later, but movies don't really have that luxury - they want audiences to go home feeling satisfied, and TV is generally similar.

Kilgrave, in particular, living would be a terrible burden for Jessica. No matter how incapacitated he was, she'd still be living in fear he'd come back. Her killing him - and being absolutely sure of it this time - is necessary for her to be free of him in the last way he still had control over her - the fear that he would come back.
>>
>>77756733
No it wasn't!
SHIELD's containment "The Fridge" was broken by HYDRA (courtesy of Ward and his mentor) and they let ALL the inmates loose (tie-in with TWS).

When that episode aired, one of the main points of the talkbalk thread was "thank god the Abomination wasn't there".

Which was the point of "The Consultant": both Coulson and Sitwell know that SHIELD does not have the capability of holding someone at *Hulk-level* nor do they want to *at that time*. They help/kept some of the experiment results and equipments not the creatures.
>>
>>77757313
My bad, I forgot about that part
>>
>>77755725
Half of those you mentioned were shit nobodies.
The other half could be written to come back because uncertain death or passing on the mantle.
>>
>>77756930
Kilgrave dying is going to be a terrible burden for Jessica Jones (tm).
>>
>>77752512
now post the pictures of Tony already wearing button ups in previous movies.
