So how are you guys liking Be Cool, Scooby Doo! so far?

How would you rate the episodes?

I don't watch it, but it's certainly not the worst scooby incarnation
it's like, the third worst, which isn't half bad

It definitely feels like Warner Brothers was looking at TTG and trying to re-create that with Scooby Doo by "thinking outside the box" of usual incarnations and going for a more silly comedic approach, without some of the randomness and (some) of the mean spiritedness of TTG. It's not bad, it has some fun jokes here and there, but I think the voice acting deliveries are really flat, so the jokes aren't as funny as they COULD be. Which isn't the problem of the show, characters like Velma just have shitty voices to begin with, it's hard to have a comedian flair to it, unlike the voice actor for Cyborg who just says things in a really funny way, even if the script itself isn't hilarious.

it's fucking Scooby Doo, MI is enjoyable but are you seriously depriving a new generation the chance to experience Scooby Doo because of "Muh Mystery Incorporated" besides, it's not half bad. It's a return to form, something that Scooby Doo needed, ever since Shaggy and Scooby Doo Get a Clue. Just a bunch of Teenagers going around solving mysteries in different places. Plus, they stepped up their mystery game

A Pup Named Scooby Doo was better than the original 60's cartoon and only comparable to Mystery Inc and Zombie Island in terms of quality.

There, I said it.
>>
>>77662698
Woah, what a controversial opinion, good thing you added "There, I said it" on the end as if you're the only person to think that.

Next you'll be saying Scrappy wasn't a good character.
>>
>>77662731

The 60's cartoon has a lot of defenders, and some people really dislike A Pup Named Scooby Doo on principle because it's from the baby fad.

Maybe it's not so uncommon here, but there's no need to get so assmad.
>>
>>77662805
Extremely sarcastic isn't the same as assmad. One guy talked shit about Pup and literally every response called him out on it, you're add on was the same as going "I'll get downvoted for this but here's the popular opinion".

Agree with Zombie Island though, that is the GOAT of Scooby media, especially if you hadn't seen any specials/movies where the monsterswere real before.
>>
Not that I hate it, but I could never get into Pup. It was on hair a few times and couldn't bring myself to watch it. The abuse of Scoobysnack in it kind of was a turn off.

>>
>>77663876
That's really bad.
>>
>>77660710
If anything, they have even stronger personalities here. Fred in particular is now a mixture of Q, Squidward, and Race Bannon. Velma's got a sharper wit, but her insufferable moments are balanced out by her being subject to physical comedy in addition to her usual level of helpfulness. Daphne secretly craves recognition and respect, but goofily moves from gimmick to gimmick in her attempts to get some; she's very rarely the damsel-in-distress though and is more physically adept and oftentimes more courageous than Velma. Scooby and Shaggy alternate between being bigger cowards than they've ever been and undergoing bouts of willing self-sacrifice

>>77660585

>>
>>77656362
I dunno about it. It's not nearly as bad as I expected and my biggest problem with it is honestly just "not muh", but that's been my problem with pretty much everything Scooby Doo since What's New. And of course that fucking artstyle will always be ugly. Also from what I've seen it kind of feels like Scooby is the weakest character. Like they tried so hard to develop the others that they just kind of did nothing with him.

To be perfectly honest, a lot of the dialogue jokes remind me of early Family guy. I dunno, something about the way they deliver jokes or do the flow of conversation.

I keep expecting Velma to suddenly transform and start talking in Gilbert Godfrey's voice though.
