Hygiene considerations would force him to leave the armor after a few hours at the earliest. While urinary functions could be compensated for through catheterization, fecal material would require at least some kind of access port for defecation and cleaning. Even if both cases were true, accumulation of sweat, oils, dead skin, and associated micro-organisms would cause skin inflammation and pressure ulcers would rapidly form.

Probably for the same reason I don't wear power armor 24/7 in Fallout 4. Power. I don't know how the movie armor is set up, but in the comic, Bruce had to hook that thing up to Gotham's power grid to get it fully charged.
Besides, he's not fighting Superman 24/7, so why would he be wearing the suit all the time.

Think about how strong an exoskeleton would need to be to press lift an armorerd jet car like the Batmobile. Then think about what the kind of strength would do to somebody's face. Imagine if that suit developed a glitch, and Batman could no longer effectively control it.
