INTRUDER SPOILERS
As Tom transverses the bowels of his state-of-the-art ship, he continuously relays back to Sara for information about the aforementioned Intruder. However, at some point Sara goes completely offline, engulfing the ship in darkness. Tom is taken back momentarily, only for the lights to come back on once more in a tinted yellow. Tom looks ahead of him and sees multiple insectoid creatures, covered in pinkish ooze and bellowing tobacco smoke. They throw the ooze onto the ground in front of them, where it begins to grow and metamorphosize into a humanoid shape. Finally it reveals itself, clad in Lich garments and smoking a Big Tobacco cigar. Tom is confronted with none other than Jason Demarco.
With smug indifference, Demango easily defeats Tom in a single blow. He proudly claims that the Age of Tom is dead, and proceeds to put his cigar out on Tom's cracked visor. As a last act of cruelty, the self-proclaimed Lich King tears open a portal in time and flings the battered Tom into the past, where Demarco's evil is not yet law. Tom begins to pass the relics of recent Toonami's past, spotting Deadman Wonderland before falling out of the portal and into a distant and familiar place: The very last scene of the original Toonami. Tom momentarily meets Tom 5 while hurdling through the air, but is unfortunately burnt to a crisp by jet propulsion and Tom 5 blasts off to future dreams.
A nearly dismantled Tom lays on the desert ground completely and utterly hopeless. He feels as though he's betrayed his ship, betrayed Sara, and betrayed his audience. However, just as all seems lost, a glimmer of hope walks into the scene. Tom takes note of it, as well as the peculiar song playing along with it, but he can't decipher it. The man picks Tom up in his hands, and together they dash back through time to the future, where Demarco is beginning his evil scheme.

Now on his throne as the Prince of Toonami, Jason D. Marco gleefully begins ordering in all the poorly-dubbed shows that he can. However, as Jason is about to his Accept, he turns around to find all his monstrous tobacco henchmen burning to death. Horrified, he looks up and sees the proprietor of the situation, holding Tom in his arms. Demarco is about to deliver his finishing move, but he is effortlessly swatted into a bloody battered mess on the ground. In his dying breath, Demarco asks how this could've happened, to which the stranger replies in sheer confidence:YO HO HO HE TOOK A BITE OF GUM-GUM.This causes Demarco to evaporate in pure light.
The stranger looks down to Tom. Tom looks up and thanks him for everything, but then regrets that he is unable to go on. The stranger reassures Tom that he will take care of everything, that Toonami will live on. Tom, accepting this, finally passes on, floats up into the air, and glows a pure white. The whole of the ship glows and is immediately restored to its former glory. Sara comes back on and sees the stranger, automatically knowing what has happened and comes to peace as well.
As the stranger sits down on the iconic chair to start Toonami, the same song from before begins to play. This time it is more notable, and Sara easily tells what it is:

Toonami goes live to all audiences, and the stranger announces that he has replaced Tom. He finally reveals his identity as The Rapper from the One Piece 4Kids Opening, and jumpstarts the show with a YA YO YA YOOOO.
