>The plan was simple: hold all of Earth's technology ransom.
>But Ra Moon had other, darker motives for humanity.
>Dr. Wily barely escaped with his life, fleeing into the smaller labs hidden within the Temple of The Moon.
>And just then Ra Moon reached out across the world, and shut every machine down.
This is Ian Flynn's- Blackout: The Curse of Ra Moon.

God damn it anon your title made me think this was the last issue
>>77616295
How so?
>>77616575
Thought you were doing issue 55
>>77616939
Issue 55 was delayed until December for no apparent reason as traditional for Mega Man projects prior to announcing their cancellations.
>>77616172
>>77616551
You dropped Page 59 here. Eh, mistakes happen.
I thought that 4-parters worked on Sonic Universe, as point of that book was supposed to tell short stories that were happening in Mobius without Sonic.
But it doesn't work with Mega Man because each game adaptation takes 4 issues, Ian usually spends 3 issues on swiftly taking down Robot Masters and then wraps up things hastily.
>>77617518
The former editor insisted on it to make easy fodder for trades.
And now Archie simply cannot release those trades to save their lives anyways so what was the point?
The Mega Man comic is just a long string of missed opportunities, can't say I'm too upset about it being axed.
>>77617548
It still had good things.
When Ian wasn't rushing things to wrap up it felt like a decent cartoon. And Worlds Collide was awesome.

>Ian usually spends 3 issues on swiftly taking down Robot Masters and then wraps up things hastily.
kek
>>77617041
I've read this sentence more than dozens of times. Still makes me sad.
>>77617428
Feck. My bad.
>>77617591
Have you read his sonic run? Good stuff? Not sure if i should storytime it.
>>77620401
Forgot image
>>77620335
Well they do say the truth hurts.
>>77620463
I'm still hoping for the best next month. Idk.
>>77620520
Nothing would happen next month anyways because of the "hiatus". Or the month after that or the next one.Because it's cancelled.
Stop trying to break my heart, anon.
>>77616095
very nice. saved.
>>77617041
>for no apparent reason
It's because United Worlds utterly lost them money m8.
If it wasn't such a piece of shit, and was actually on par with Worlds Col, then Megaman would've been celebrating it's 60th issue.
>>77620953
Nice. Thanks for the Storytime, OP.
Mega Man 55 will be about Dr. Light accidentally visiting the X, Zero, Legends, and ZX eras. Speculation?
>>77621017
It still would have been cancelled the executives weren't happy spending licensing fees for a dead franchises, Worlds Unite just hastened its death.
>>77621084
ROCK OF AGES 2: MORE SHIT WE'LL NEVER GET TO BOOGALOO followed by by vague as fuck editorial and letters sections that don't flat out say the comic is dead and plug the reprint trades which Archie will never actually release.
>>77621048
No prob.
>>77621084
>accidentally
I'd figure he'd actively pursue it, just to see the course of his fruition.
>>77621084
>tfw you will never see a legends comic
:-'( i would've spent massive zenny on that
>>77621285
I actually like Super Adventure Rockman. Not a very good game, but the darker tone is refreshing.
>>77621153
Any idea when you'll post the next arc?
>>77621477
So why is Archie so financially fucked up that they have to cancel Mega Man? Isn't their reboot doing well for them, as well as their new series that aren't Riverdale-related?
>>77621984
cut losses
>>77621984
Who knows what the exact reason is but they're so strapped they can't even release reprints, they're more than a year behind in most of their titles now.
>>77621273
An accident in the Chronos Institute sends him in a time warp
>>77621984
They've had a lot of lawsuits in the past two years.
>>77621169
From the graphic novels?
>>77626385
Yeah OP storytimed the graphic novel version for whatever reason.
