I think the only way Emerald can win is with Cinder pulling the strings. Coco's partner seems slower but Mercury doesn't strike me as someone who can hit hard. Fuck, Pyhrra took his kick to her bare arm with little to no effect.
For that matter, all of the villains on this seem to never try to finish a fight. It's either distracting until they can escape or throwing the fight when it looks like they're losing. Only pic related actually tried to finish their opponent but still fled at the sight of slight danger

Anything Cinder used Glynda countered pretty quickly. From what we saw she had to divide her attention from stopping them from leaving to keeping Ruby safe. Cinder is skilled, but feat-wise she seems about as skilled as Ruby.
If Glynda downs the ship, all she needs to do is catch Roman/telekinesis his cane away and focus on fighting Cinder. Some pretty ferocious Glyphs and flames take place, but Glynda seems to have stronger magic. If all else fails just throw her into a few buildings with her semblance

Well, some people here wanted a war story so I conjured up something.
Now I never played BF4 but I just saw their trailers and it looks pretty impressive.
So I just applied a RWBY-esque setting to them.
You have full reign on writing this on wahtever happens and even maybe disregard some points in this prompt.
These are also in chronological order so kinda just choose which one you want to do.
Act 1: Faunus Rising
Join Blake Belladonna and her squad go dark as she dives into the harsh environment of Vacuo uncovering a terrible secret that may change the fate of Remnant. Sent in for a reconnaissance black op, Blake and her team find intel that a Faunus uprising is imminent in a global scale. With her cover blown and trapped in hostile territory, Blake must desperately guide her team out of the bloodthirsty continent with the valuable data back to HQ.

How does a war play out in Remnant?
Surely any large scale battle that takes place outside of the fortified cities would be overrun with Grimm throughout the entire battle with more arriving the longer it lasts due to all the death, sorrow and panic.
Skirmishes seem somewhat pointless because again, Grimm will be drawn to the area and wipe out anyone there. As well as any worthwhile targets would either be heavily fortified or some random village more interested in its own survival.
Prolonged sieges also don't make sense due to the cities supposedly being self-sufficient such as the agricultural district in Vale (if the map in Romans lair/warehouse and the continent map are supposed to be to scale then all of its districts are fucking massive).
The only plausible thing I can think of is a full scale sky assault that conquers the city as fast as possible with as little damage as possible and man the walls for the resulting Grimm attack (if it hadn't started already).

That's simple. Full on war? Not really an option. 'Wars' on Remnant are really small squads facing off against each other as they try and hit strategic locations. Their goal is not to try and conquer, but rather, to cause enough havoc that the Grimm invade and do all of your fighting for you. Then you go in and mop up.
The Color Nazi's used machinery and infuser themselves with it in an attempt to quell their emotions. Not only making themselves invincible, but ensuring the survival of the human race.
Alas is using the research collected from the Color Nazi's to fuel their own experiments, of which Penny is the latest breakthrough. Their use of unfeeling Robots is revolutionary in both war and the security of their nation.

Both transforming weapons and referencing/alluding to fairy tales, while not seen often, isn't that weird or original.
Everything RWBY's done, another show's done before and almost certainly done it better because RWBY is the culmination of the idea that if you take enough good ideas from preexisting content and mash them all together you'll get something halfway decent. Unfortunately we got something below average instead, which can be blamed on both poor animation in every sequence but fight scenes (and even then those scenes have their issues) and bad writing.
