Sentai started off with just vehicles and then gradually transitioned to animals. They kind of rotate off and on. Last season was trains, currently they've got a mix of both animals and vehicles

Kamen Rider is radically different from Power Rangers, but not by much. It's just one guy on his own beating the shit out of monsters that don't grow huge. There's also no giant robots, though Fourze and Gaim have made exceptions
