Just spent the day watching cartoons with my little brother on Netflix. It then dawned on me that he will never experience the joy of waking up early on a Saturday and catching what seems like the coolest shows. Made me feel really nostalgic.
So /co/, what was your favorite Saturday morning programming block? I can't think of anything that beats late 90's Fox Kids.

Also favorite shows. It's a tossup between Xmen and Spider-Man.
Yeah, probably a tie between Kids WB or Fox Kids.
Fox Kids had Medabots, Digimon and etc, but Kids WB had Pokemon, Batman, and etc.
Beetleborgs
It seemed like it made this transition overnight. Only good thing to come out of it was TMNT
i still watch a saturday morning cartoon>>>/mlp/

Either Fox or WB Saturday mornings
WB
>Superman/Batman
>Pokemon
>MiB
Fox
>Godzilla
>Digimon
UPN was a third party, and they had some other stuff. I can't remember if they had Beast Wars or not, that might have been Fox.
For a while, we only had public access tv, so the only thing to watch was Sonic X and Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds before the infomercials started. Dark times indeed.

4kids was the only cartoon channel I got too anon, I feel your pain
UPN was pretty much the best, especially during the weekdays. In the mornings it was Sailor Moon, then Pizza Cats, and then after school it was Ronin Warriors and Dragonball. And they were the first to air Pokemon in my area, so I knew about that shit before anyone because everyone was only down with the more mainstream stuff on WB. And they had a lot of the Marvel cartoon shows that none of my friends watched, like Hulk and Iron Man. Plus Mighty Max, GI Joe Extreme, and Exo Squad.
Then WB went and stole UPN's thunder, which was just bullshit. WB was a complete blackhole and brought us shit like Generation O. The only good thing they brought us was Jackie Chan Adventures.

This, Kids WB, or the mornings with STAS
>>77494572
Fox Kids along with KidsWB. I'd watch both interchangeably.
>>77494572
>late 90s Fox Kids
I was born in 1995, what is this? I don't remember it.
>>77494735
i think it was on fox
If I recall correctly, I mostly stuck with Kids WB and Fox on Saturdays, and Disney Afternoon (before Kids WB took over) on the weekdays after school.
Was pretty devastated when I realized the networks were getting rid of cartoons altogether.

On the bright side anon he has access to more porn than either of us ever had as kids thanks to everything having browser access.
>not being able to instantly watch your favorite cartoons whenever you want
Oh yeah, being a 90's kid was sooooo great.I watched Fox Kids for 3 things: Power Rangers, Batman The Animated Series, & Digimon.

In France on Sundays, there's a was a show on Fr3 where they used bits of the Batman anmiated serie, redubbed them with the official french VAs to make them present a show. So Batman and co announced coming shows, launched commercials, etc... And the roster of cartoon was the best with Batman, Xmen, Powepuff Girls, Freakaziod, Animaniacs...
Damn that was great.

>not recording it on VHS so you can do exactly that

I didn't mean it sound like the nineties were the shit.they were
It's just that rush of waking up to see something that only came on in that time slot once a week has gone the way of the dodo.
Here is another block I'd try to catch on abc. One Saturday Morning was pretty tight
>Recess
>Weekenders
>eh, Pepper Anne
>House of Mouse
>Buzz Lightyear of Star Command
Then as soon as The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh would start and I'd click away from that saccharine garbage.
