It is discussion about the feasibility of non-violent heroism and Wolverine has a rather convoluted, if understandable position.
Kamala treats "hurt" as an avoidable byproduct of actions while Wolverine views it as a constant value that just moves on some cosmic hurt-meter.
She is not painting anyone (undeservedly) as a victim of injustice, she does not make anyone the victim of her behavior and she is absolutely right that the alligator was the unfortunate victim of someone else's plan. It was no henchman who enlisted for money, it was not doing anything one could blame an alligator for and it was put there against its will before it fell victim to Wolverine (Logan himself avoided the same fate thusly) who himself had no malicious intent.

I've not read any of the post-Secret War stuff yet but I am hoping we get an antagonist that's a bit more engaging and compelling.

In Secret Wars we see a future Ms Marvel who can shapeshift into completely different people at will.

Issues 8-9. Long story short:a villain's robot attacks her school and blows up her classroom. She heals from her injuries, but since she doesn't want everyone at school to know she's Ms. Marvel and she doesn't have her costume, she tries to transform. She can't, and uses loose dust as cover to wreck the robot before passing out. She's taken to Attilan, where a doctor tells her that her shapeshifting is incompatible with her healing ("when you heal, you return the injured part to its original form"), and that she may have been able to do so before because she was temporarily "supercharged" after her Inhumanization.
As said, it's not clear whether she's lost her shapeshifting abilities entirely, or if they're just too taxing to use in conjunction with her healing. Personally, my headcanon is the latter (because her size-changing, healing, and shapeshifting are shown to all be different uses of the same power, so it doesn't make sense to lose one but not the others) but there's no official confirmation one way or the other.
