I'm looking forward to it. Having a female superhero is something Marvel is sorely lacking. Plus the dynamic of a hero couple is something I think they could have a lot of fun with. I'd like it if they didn't have to force some kind of world saving event on them too. Let some of the movies just be fun stories of them being heroes on a smaller scale.

I am REALLY hoping that Antman never gets into the Avengers shtick because the movie was delightfuly restrained from all the massive destruction scenes which are present in all other marvel movies.
I hope the sequel will keep up the same tone and maybe even bring Edgar Wright back to direct it fully, since it was obvious most of the film was from him.

Except all the stuff everyone though was from Wright(Microverse, Luis, the macro-photography look for the shrinking stuff) turned out to be Peyton Reed's ideas.
Keep in mind Reed was the guy who wrote a Fantastic Four script that was going to be full of insane 60's science and live-action Kirby dots. Dude might not be Edgar Wright but he has an eye for the weird and comic-book.
Yeah, I'd totally trust Reed to direct the next one.
