Dammit, whenever I hear something about Paris these days this show pops in my head. Of course, I didn't really think about Paris before this show came out.
I wonder, if this is just the beginning of a long, drawn-out campaign of Intifada-style terror, will I be able to look at this show the same way again? Like, it's hard to take a light-hearted show such as this one seriously when it's set in what is now a war zone. Kind of like if there was a happy-go-lucky kids' show set in Detroit back in the fifties (assume television debuted earlier, or something), and it portrayed Detroit as a nice place to live and the people there as generally friendly, nobody would be able to get past that today. Nobody could ignore how "wrong" Detroit's portrayal is.
