You know, it seems odd how killing is just glanced over in the MCU....I realize it's not ENTIRELY out of character for most of them and totally in character for some, but when you put things into perspective that these are essentially family movies and the fact that they're backed by Disney it is rather odd isn't it?
Loki murdered a shitload of people in Avengers alone, but he's made out to be an anti hero in Thor 2....could you imagine if a sequel to TDK came out where Joker was working alongside Batty boy?
Disney never had a problem with KILLING people on movies. It just need to be in a non gore way.

However even still, it could be argued they kill the "badguys", Loki killed 80 innocent people at the very start of Avengers and by Thor 2 we were sold him as a misunderstood anti hero
