>TFW no Disney Princess movie about a heavy metal guitarist
>>
Have we ever seen a Disney princess that played an instrument? Plenty sing or dance with brooms, but that may be it.
>>
>>77380754
I think Rapunzel did.
>>
>>77380923
What did she play?
Was it before or after dancing with a broom?

Metal is an obscure subculture again?
>>

I see these edits all over Facebook. They are posted exclusively by autistic lard whales.
>>
>>77381110
They made a movie for Creole riverboat captains, why not?

Everyone and their mother has a Metallica shirt, metal subculture isn't exactly obscure.

>>77380374

With all the nastiness of the music and culture (and other underground rock derived genres), portraying the genre would be as watered down as American light beer, and if there's one thing metalfags hate (present company included), it's their subculture and genre being portrayed incorrectly.

I don't think Disney wants to do any more ancient myth movies.
>>
Honestly I'd be ok with a heavy metal princess.
Is there any good metal bands featuring women?

Can... can I be a princess?
>>
>>77381841
Nightwish used to. Nightwish is shit now though.
>>
>>77381872

Do you even fucking know what metal is?
>>
>>77381886
If I look back far enough I have two nightwish songs. I am genuinely interested in finding metal bands with women in it because it is so little. I am far too drunk to remember any names but there are two I think of that at least sounded good, though neither of them spoke english.

well they look 80's glam metal
>>
>>77382009
Rock, glam rock. Metal is harder than rock, this is a literal and a figurative distinction.
>>
I may have an idea for a metal princess movie
>set in 1980's
>there's some obscure princess of the U.K.
>she is shy and can't get through her parents that she wants to express herself in music
>discovers the new wave of thrash metal
>buys a guitar and hides it from her parents
>one day alone plugs it in, gives her shredding powers
>a specific note she plays teleports her to an underworld
>they need a new queen to take over
I'm kinda stumped and most of this sounds stupid but there's material here
>>
>>77382083
Just make a movie about Geddy Lee.

Off the top of my head

Holy Moses
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oV-K_0fcAZA

Plasmatics Before Coup d'Etat they were punk rock with NWOBHM elements; Coup D'Etat in and out of itself is decent, but cock rocky

Girlschool

Nausea Crust punk, but Crust is metal so whatever, Amy Miret shares vocal duties in this band with some other dude though.

Wardance German as fuck voice, get your Nena fix here
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9c_aeBaasQ0

War Machine A personal favorite, I think she's got a beautiful voice

That movie being garbage had nothing to do with music.
>>
>>77382083

There's potential, but it needs work with setting and terms and other sorts of shit metal dorks are autistic about.

First off, set it in the early 80's if we're going to be concentrating in the U.K. because during the mid 80's the focus shifted onto the burgeoning American thrash scene. Also Thrash came off America, the Brits adopted somewhere during the mid-late 80's, what you want to concentrate on is NWOBHM (Iron Maiden, Saxon, Virtue, Blitzkrieg, Venom, Atomkraft, etc, you get the idea). Nothing else wrong with what you posted, though her name as the queen should be The Iron Maiden.

Credits song should be this though.

Second.
>>
>>77380962
I don't remember her dancing with a broom but she did sweep her room. She played a guitar in the intro but it was kinda like a visual gag for the intro song.

But with all the time and skills she developed while trapped in her tower, I don't doubt she picked up an instrument or two.
>>
Why is it still Princess and not Queen?
>>
>>77382059
Basically the same thing
>>
>>77381841
Google The Great Kat.

I suppose now that you have bands like Baby Metal, a Disney cartoon about a heavy metal princess will be on the horizon soon enough.
>>
>>77385894
Because a queen actually has to run the kingdom and do political shit. A princess has all the things of a queen without any of the responsibility.
