Once again, May is the only worthwhile character in this mess of a comic. It is all a bit of a mess because Jeph started out with Chobit knock offs. Then decided to make things post singularity.
So Pintsize, Momo, and Winslow all started out as Chobit knock offs. Just fancy computers that can talk and move around a bit.

Flashbacks tells us that AIs were actually assigned out to be companions for humans. Pintsize being with Marten is a mistake.

May pops up as an AI in Token's AR glasses. Then is released from AI prison and given a body.
There is Space Station. Which is the AI that runs the space station belonging to Hanner's father. Is also sort of in love with Hanners. In sort of a hentai incest Onii-chan kind of way. Since he was around to watch her grow up.
Nothing much happens about AIs for the longest damn time. Forget something JJ?
Now we have Bubbles and the perfectly safe but still illegal robot fight club.
